- They are based on the orcs from The Lord of the Rings, and Mork, from the television show, Mork and Mindy.
- The morcs are not the first characters Maurice LaMarche provided his dead-on Robin Williams impression for. He also did Williams as Patchcord Adams in "Bendin' in the Wind".
